To do this he has to omit that fact that over 300 congress-critters signed the Amicus opposing the DC Ban, that Obama has gone from stating the DC ban is constitutional and calling for full semi-auto bans to stating he doesn't take stands on current cases (a lie) and that he never saw the surveys. All the while Clinton is professing herself a hunter and attacking Obama for his gun stance.
Paul thinks getting an answer to why the NRA isn't exactly thrilled w/ him yet is supporting him (grudgingly) now will destroy their credibility (as if he has room to talk).
The answer to that is simple. He recognized where the support is.
