Nail bomb explodes outside primary school
A homemade nail bomb exploded in a teacher's car parked outside a primary school in Liverpool today.
The car, which was badly damaged, belonged to a teacher at the school in an affluent and leafy part of Merseyside.
No-one was injured in the blast, at 2.50 pm, around the time children start to leave the school.
Police described the attack as "despicable" saying the bomb had the potential to cause "considerable damage" and could have killed or seriously injured anyone nearby. The vehicle's windows were blown out and it was in flames...."
So are they going to start registering nails now? Are all your nails going to be serialized and stored at a secure facility?
