Making Up Stories.

One would think that an individual who claims to be "a former Army officer, gunsmith, member of the NRA and a competitive marksman," could at least get the terminology right before going into his gun control talking points and NRA hate comments :

I see no reason why citizens, other than law enforcement, should have free access to armor-piercing rounds, military or automatic weapons, extended clips or undocumented purchases at gun shows.

Yeah. OK. I believe you. Just as much as the people in the comments section. Wonder which gun control group he really belongs to.

Ignorance

Anyone , especially 'Authorized Journalists', who uses the expression 'Packing Heat' when discussing carrying firearms just proves to the world they have no clue what they're talking about.

This morning, Ladd Everitt of the Coalition to Stop Gun Ownership (CSGV): tweeted this.

Brady's Running Scared in Illinois

The day after 5,000+ people marched on the state capitol, demanding our right to defend ourselves, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Ownership spent some of their dwindling resources to hire a contract lobbyist to try and stave off the inevitable.

Illinois is the last state to have no form of carry whatsoever for the general public and they know that if they lose it, the fight's pretty much done for them.

We need to return the favor and put them into the dustbin of history. Call your Reps and Senators. Encourage them to support CCW and thank them if they already do.

The push is on. We can make this happen.

Audacity.

The Coalition to Stop Gun Ownership (CSGV) has put up a petition to have Rep. Young (R-AK) to 're-swear his oath to the COTUS' because he signed a letter saying that he will actively oppose unconstitutional measures by the federal Gov't.

The CSGV is the same organization that believes speaking out against gov't abuse should be grounds to be tried for treason.

The same organization that believes the Second Amendment to the Bill of Rights is 'Nonsense'.

The same organization that advocates warrantless inspections of homes (ie safe storage) and the confiscation of private property in an 'emergency'.

The same organization that supports the elimination of due process through the secret gov't lists of 'terrorists'. Stripping those on it of their rights.

Which Constitution are they reading?

Gun Control Activists Support Libya

Historically, gun control is one of the first laws implemented by authoritarian gov't's to control the population.

Currently there is an armed rebellion against long-time Libyan Dictator Qaddafi. Libya (and Egypt) had a long term, internationally recognized, stable and functional federal Gov't which was determined by individuals (and later masses) that it was tyrannical. It is currently in the throes of a civil war supported by much of the world.

Yet here are some interesting quotes by Ladd Everitt of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV):

"I'm very familiar with what they said and did against armed individuals who perceived "tyranny" & used violence."

"Our Founding Fathers knew what it was when they crushed armed rebels who decided gov't was "tyrannical."

Traitors who preach armed political violence against our government certainly will not support CSGV. "

"Our position is that the use of political violence by individuals is illegitimate and extra-constitutional."

"Yeah, there's a big difference b/n disagreeing and calling for violence, civil war and secession."

What about the traitors who arm themselves against our government?

By these statements made by Ladd Everitt of the CSGV, their position is that these revolutions are illegitimate. That is unless they try to argue that our form of Gov't is superior (which it is). On that, one then has to ask why they support laws/positions in direct violation of the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th amendments to the founding document of our nation? Support of which would give the the gov't extra-constitutional and authoritarian powers. Powers specifically opposed by our Founding Fathers.

So they're either in support of statist thugs or they're hypocrites. But why choose? They're both.

NRA Hate

I know people that have legitimate beefs against the NRA. Most of them can justify them w/ logical, reasoned arguments.

This is not one of them.

'Authorized Journalist' Clarence Worly has some interesting views. He allegedly spent 3 yrs unable to buy a firearm and thousands of dollars in legal fees due to a screw up on the Brady Background Check. He doesn't think federal laws have done any good.

But he thinks the NRA are extremists and Wayne Lapierre fans the fears of gun owners and arms criminals. He quotes the 'GunGuys' and Brady Campaign hit sites to prove his case. And all his firearm owning friends are reactionary lunatics. He also apparently hasn't reported the criminals he personally knows to the authorities.

Me thinks someone needs to change their meds. Just another 'I'm a gun owner but...' twit.

And when called on to show where we've 'preached armed political violence against our gov't' or where we've committed treason, Ladd Everitt scurried away under his rock.

Ladd Everitt, Comm Dir. of the CSGV and former head of the now defunct DC area MMM He considers the Second Amendment to be 'nonsense', doesn't believe guns were confiscated in NOLA, and likes to use sock puppets to support his boss. . Is there any question that we can't work w/ these people?

Update: They continue. Instead of actually showing evidence, Ladd Everitt decides to make libelous false associations and character attacks. He openly states that if local authorities decide to attack and kill voters during an election, defending yourself is wrong.

Every time I get into it w/ the CSGV, I start getting obsessive hits from their DC office in a desperate attempt to find something, anything, they can try and take out of context to prove their claims. The only thing that's resulted from it is more traffic to my site and some patch sales.
