CSGV, Ladd Everitt and Cries of Treason

The CSGV and their Comm. Dir. Ladd Everitt like to throw about the words 'Insurrectionist' and 'Traitor' in practically every post or comment they make. Like a Liberal Arts Major using screamings 'Fascist' and 'Racist' whenever they're losing an argument, Ladd and his cohorts have no idea what those words really mean.  Art. 3 Sec. 3 of the COTUS clearly defines what treason is:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. 
 The Congress shall have power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

That's pretty specific isn't it? Anyone w/ a glimmer of intelligence can see that I nor anyone that have been the recipients of Ladd/CSGV's 'Insurrectionist Award' have levied War nor given aid and comfort to our enemies.  So why is the COTUS so detailed in this definition?  Why let's ask James Madison in writings that Ladd ignores in his effort to subvert the Bill of Rights.

"As treason may be committed against the United States, the authority of the United States ought to be enabled to punish it. But as new-fangled and artificial treasons have been the great engines by which violent factions, the natural offspring of free government, have usually wreaked their alternate malignity on each other, the convention have, with great judgment, opposed a barrier to this peculiar danger, by inserting a constitutional definition of the crime, fixing the proof necessary for conviction of it, and restraining the Congress, even in punishing it, from extending the consequences of guilt beyond the person of its author."

So basically they knew that wingnuts like Ladd Everitt would start throwing out the charge of 'Traitor' against anything they didn't like, hoping to smear people since they can't win their argument on their own foundations. And just like the Founders felt, we should take claims claims as seriously. In other words, not at all.

Ladd Everitt at the CSGV likes to call people 'traitors'. In this instance it's when he can't pigeon hole simplistic answers to a complex debate. He attempted to do so to Sebastian SIH by deliberately misconstruing what Sebastian said.

Well Ladd Everitt glommed onto that like a frat boy to a drunk sorority girl.

Since they couldn't get me to give them a yes or no answer and can't provide evidence of me endorsing violence, they once again returned to the character attacks and insults.

So Ladd didn't get the 'hive mind' response he wanted nor simplistic answers he could play the Socratic method on. And then he just made up more nonsense and threw out the insults. Just like he did to Cam Edwards in an e-mail sent to NRA news. I mean really. These are the kinds of taunts a 10yr old might use on the playground.

And when called on to show where we've 'preached armed political violence against our gov't' or where we've committed treason, Ladd Everitt scurried away under his rock.

Ladd Everitt, Comm Dir. of the CSGV and former head of the now defunct DC area MMM He considers the Second Amendment to be 'nonsense', doesn't believe guns were confiscated in NOLA, and likes to use sock puppets to support his boss. . Is there any question that we can't work w/ these people?

Update: They continue. Instead of actually showing evidence, Ladd Everitt decides to make libelous false associations and character attacks. He openly states that if local authorities decide to attack and kill voters during an election, defending yourself is wrong.

Every time I get into it w/ the CSGV, I start getting obsessive hits from their DC office in a desperate attempt to find something, anything, they can try and take out of context to prove their claims. The only thing that's resulted from it is more traffic to my site and some patch sales.

@CSGV's Ladd Everitt's Violent Assault on Strawmen

Trying to create more strawmen when shown his other arguments are strawmen Ladd Everitt claims:

"Despite the whole thing being pretty nuanced and flimsy, the gun rights movement got a hold of Winkler’s “racist” argument and ran with it."

Outside of the fact that even courts recognized that historical gun control laws 'weren't meant to be applied to whites', one wonders where Ladd got the idea that firearm rights advocates "got a hold of Winkler’s “racist” argument and ran with it" since the facts have been becoming more apparent for years. Perhaps it was Winkler that got a hold of the information and ran w/ it? There's also the Chicago Chief of Police stating that Federal gun control laws 'facilitate the flow of illegal firearms into our urban centers, across this country, that are killing black and brown children,' . No mention of that though.

But that would hurt Ladd's belief that pro-rights advocates are nothing more than knuckle-draggers who don't have any thoughts beyond what the NRA tells us.

So IOW, Ladd (falsley) claims that we're holding Winkler up as some sort of pro-gun hero while at the same time deliberately misconstruing Winkler's arguments and dismissing them as 'nuanced and flimsy'.

Libelous Ladd strikes again.

And if DOOT is one of the 'darkest corners of the intenet' (a favorite dismissal of his), what does that make them? Over ten hours since his post was put up and not a single hit from it.

W/ Holder facing contempt charges by Congress, Ladd Everitt, Comm. Dir. of the CSGV has gone into full 'Bagdad Bob' mode. Apparently there is not any evidence that 'Fast and Furious' guns killed agent Terry Holder and Jaime Zapata or dozens if not hundreds of others. Holder's own admission, the Mexican AG' claim, dozens of news reports, none of it is real:

Everitt argued that he didn’t think there is “actual trace and ballistics evidence to prove that conclusively.”

Of course this is the same individual who claimed the gun confiscations in NOLA didn't happen even when shown video evidence, defended a serial spousal abuser , endorsed gov't approved genocide,  called for the imprisonment/execution of those who disagree w/ (current) gov't policies and believes that ANY 'violent' use of a weapon is immoral. 

This is not a well mind and goes to show the reality of 'gun control'.  No amount of evidence will distract them from their hatred of guns.

Libelous Ladd Everitt @CSGV Strikes Again

As Sebastian noted, the CSGV is on a mission to smear pro-rights advocates. Their latest target is AntiTango , an occasional blogger, in which they posted a Note on their FB page entitled "Meet a Gun Rights Activist".

Ladd posts a couple of tweets w/ his personal commentary on them, nothing unusual from the guy that considers Chuck Norris a traitor. But then the fun begins. He used some selective rewording when referencing Tango's blog.


Except Tango didn't say anything about 'crying'. The exact words were :

After a dozen times, he got a super sad, big pouty lip on his face, and started chewing.

Well Ladd Everitt caught wind that he had been caught and pulled the fabricated wording from the note, but not before the above screen cap was made.


So in their efforts to smear pro-rights advocates, they still have to resort to deception and lies. In this case making libelous allegations of child abuse. Too bad for them the internet never forgets. A lesson he still has yet to learn.

Ladd Everitt & CSGV Still Defending Genocide

In response to this statement made by me in reference to a tweet from (and later attempted to deny) a staffer at the CSGV:

 So you're saying you think you have a right to shoot our elected officials, cops and military service members when you disagree with decisions made by our courts?

 So in his attempt to try and redirect the topic away from his group's endorsement of historical events, all determined to be legal at the time, like the Japanese and Native American internments, Warsaw Ghetto, Soviet Gulags, or the Boer War camps, Ladd tries to expand the topic to ALL court cases since he knows he can't morally or ethically defend that statement. IOW, as long as the courts say it's OK, the CSGV would have no problems w/ the authorities busting in your door and rounding up all those untermenschen. You know, like 'right wing insurrectionists', mormons. or anyone Ladd just doesn't care for.

That's the CSGV American Dream in action.

 

Ladd Everitt @CSGV Channels Michael Moore; UPDATE

Remember when Michael Moore put out 'Bowling for Columbine' and claimed that the NRA rushed to Littleton, Colorado to hold rallies right after the shooting? How he used footage of Charleston Heston yelling 'From my cold dead hands' and made it appear that it was in the center of the town?

Remember how that was all just 'creative license' on the part of a political hack film maker and that those rallies never happened in Colorado, in fact were months later halfway across the country?

Well Ladd Everitt, Comm. Dir. of the CSGV, has taken Moore's style to heart and is now claiming that the NRA is selling hoodies 'in the wake of' the Florida shooting. Nevermind that they've been in the store for who knows how long. And he's retweeted it to anyone he can think of, hoping to gain a few individuals to agree w/ them through ignorance or stupidity.

This is the kind of deliberate dishonesty inherent in gun control activists. This is why they'll lose in the long run.

Ladd Everitt/CSGV Get Their Censorship On

Not content w/ attempting to strip people of their 2nd Amendment rights, Ladd Everitt of the CSGV and nutball anti-gun lawyer 'Michael Bannerman' aka 'Laci the Dog' are attempting to strip the 1st Amendment rights of a paraplegic veteran that they consider a threat to national security.

Because he writes a column criticizing the gov't.

This is the same tactic they tried by accusing a blogger of child abuse.

They CANNOT win on their own merits so they have to resort to trying to shut down the voice of their opposition using lies and deceit. Maybe Ladd can show us on a doll where the dangerous insurrectionist touched him. That might explain all his hate. 

Gun control activism in action. Remember this whenever they call for a 'conversation'.

Ladd Everitt/GritsJr is lots of fun. Especially when he shorts out his keyboard slavering over 'traitors' and 'insurrectionists' that he forgets who he's attacked in the past.

Well as Kurt noted to me later, it turns out they are fully aware of who Ted Rall is and have linked to him in the past. Specifically when they listed David Codrea as an 'Insurrectionist' and deliberately misquoted him to do so from one of his GUNS magazine articles.

See, that's the classic problem w/ lying. Once you start, you have to keep track of them and the lies just keep building and building until you turn into a gun control activist and discard any and all logic, put your fingers in your ears and yell "LALALALALA GUNS ARE BAD WE CAN'T HEAR YOU".
