Confused
I've been staring at this dangerous 'AK-47' (bought during the AWB, apparently illegally according to the media), 'high capacity magazine' and arsenal of 'high powered assault ammunition' for two hours.
I have had exactly zero murderous impulses nor has it loaded itself and started firing randomly at passerby's.
It must be broken.

You know? we should make a meme out of this.
From a Facebook argument I was having with one of those, "I-support-the-Sencond-Amendment-But" types. It started as a, "why do you NEED an AR-15 or AK-47?" argument. I gave him the "need has nothing to do with it," argument. He then shot back with, Okay, maybe I should say, "PURPOSE:"
"What is the PURPOSE of a high powered rifle? To kill things."
I asked him how it is that the ones I own hadn't killed anything yet, and probably never will as long as I'm alive?
Unfortunately, mine, too, must be hopelessly broken. :-(
Let me rephrase that last sentence. Not "unfortunately" but FORTUNATELY.

My SKS is the same way and even with the 20 round clip...Does nothing...

Well what's even funnier is that it has the Bayonet lug ground off, and that welded muzzle cap, and the fixed stock! Well that's not an "Assault Weapon" at all.
On the same grounds my FAL isn't a "High Powered Assault Rifle" either....but my free-state buddies ARs are...even some of them are in .22 LR!
The fact that any anti on the planet will look at your rifle or mine and say "Assault rifle", when clearly they aren't shows that it isn't "Assault Rifles" they're after...
