Milwaukee PD Faking Crime Numbers

Following in the footsteps of Chicago wanting to artificially decrease homicide numbers, MPD chief Flynn seems to have wanted to decrease the city's assault stats:

 When Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn touted the city's fourth-straight year of falling crime in February, hundreds of beatings, stabbings and child abuse cases were missing from the count, a Journal Sentinel investigation has found.
More than 500 incidents since 2009 were misreported to the FBI as minor assaults and not included in the city's violent crime rate, the investigation found. That tally is based on a review of cases that resulted in charges - only about one-fifth of all reported crimes.

 If the name 'Flynn' sounds familiar, it should.  This is the same individual that threatened legal Open Carry advocates in '09:

 "My message to my troops is if you see anybody carrying a gun on the streets of Milwaukee, we'll put them on the ground, take the gun away and then decide whether you have a right to carry it," Flynn said. "Maybe I'll end up with a protest of cowboys.

And then threatened that Concealed Carry advocates might be shot if they don't 'think very carefully'.  

Milwaukee is also a member of Mayors Against Illegal Guns and is using tax money to pay anti-gun activists on the city payroll.
