Quincy, IL City Council vs MAIG
The city council of Quincy, IL overwhelmingly passed a 'non-binding' resolution to support the passage of Concealed Carry in this last holdout of a state.
The Mayor of Quincy, however, is one of only seven IL members of Bloomie's MAIG, which works to oppose CCW as much as possible.
Wonder how he feels about that?

Be sure the Mayor is a member. MAIG got caught adding names and the Mayors added didn't know about it. If he is a member, start a campaign to get him to resign or be replaced in the next election.
I've been working on the Mayor here for a while and can't even get a response to my e-mails.

Unless the Mayor has himself been anti-gun on record, he might well not even know he's "supporting" MAIG.
Or he might be, and be gnashing and wailing about this.
Either way, I'm happy enough.
It's well known around here that Spring is a proud member of the MAIG.
Between this and his 6 million dollar hydro blunder he should be gone after the next election
