Authorized Journalists in Action

WBBM CBS Chicago selectively edits a video to make a 4yr old out to be a future gang-banger. Watch the video to see what the boy really said.

This is how the media creates stories and controversy to generate ratings.

H/T to Illinois Carry.

No qualms to attack somebody who both won't fight back, or know better that reporters will turn your words into lies.

Jerks!

The same is true of politicians and lawyers!

Reminds me of the Babylon 5 episode "The Illusion of Truth" which I had previously misremembered as "And now for a word..." The interview with the lead characters as seen during the episode and as edited in the 'broadcast version' will make your skin crawl. As the video you link reveals, our 'authorized journalists' can and do make the news fit their agenda all too often.

These aren't journalists; they're jackals.

"Evil liars" also fits

And yet, with all I have seen from David Codrea's "Only Ones" files, and seeing the CHP attacking Patricia Konie in her own home, cops are as scary as gangbangers.

that's beyond low, but then journalists generally have little integrity or standards of decency. Not all of course, but many of them.

This is ridiculous. I know the story sells better because of shock value. This is another sign the media has gone way past reporting the news and is in the business of creating the news.

Unlicensed, unvetted and unaccountable journalists pose a much broader threat to the public than any unlicensed gun owner or unregistered inanimate object.
