Registration Leads To Confiscation....Always

A shooting in Australia leads authorities to confiscate firearms from individuals w/ legal licenses and registrations but no criminal acts:
The weapons were held legally by registered gun owners, but police intelligence revealed 20 had "connections to family or associates who were persons of interest to the Acer Taskforce team".
So any vague 'connection' to 'persons of interest' was all it took for them to steal private property. There is no 2nd or 4th Amendments in Australia. They can come into your home to 'inspect' and confiscate at any time. The same concept that 'safe storage' laws would create here.

Complete civilian disarmament is the ultimate goal of 'gun control'. For them to claim otherwise is deliberately lying to cover up the truth or they are lying to themselves.

Imagine how few guns would be in america if an entire neighborhood's guns were confiscated every time there was a shooting.

Imagine what would happen if they tried. The government might start something they can't finish.

What a great idea! When a crime happens, let's make even more people defenseless. Whose side are they even on?

@45er:
Obviously, if you own guns, EVEN LEGALLY, you must be a criminal, or someone who is about to become one. [sarcasm]

So, it makes perfect sense to take away firearms from anyone who is vaguely related to anyone who may have been involved in a shooting incident since this proves their guilt and they could not possibly ever need one for self-defense. [sorry, more sarcasm]

Police policies, judges, and silly laws such as these do indeed make the decent people as defenseless as sheep before a slaughter. To think that I once believed that Australia was a nice place. Well, not anymore.

I wonder how Australia will fare when Melbourne burns in a future riot and nobody can stop it?

We cannot allow our government to ever get registration into place.

Markie Marxist sez: "Communism is really cool like that! People have the right to do as we commies tell them, or we send them to gulag! Ha! Ha! All your gun rights are belong to us! And we don't think you have any! Ha! Ha!"
