Making Up Stories.

One would think that an individual who claims to be "a former Army officer, gunsmith, member of the NRA and a competitive marksman," could at least get the terminology right before going into his gun control talking points and NRA hate comments :
I see no reason why citizens, other than law enforcement, should have free access to armor-piercing rounds, military or automatic weapons, extended clips or undocumented purchases at gun shows.
Yeah. OK. I believe you. Just as much as the people in the comments section. Wonder which gun control group he really belongs to.

Baldr what-his-face (Japete's lapdog) is over in that part of the country. Salem I think. The Oregonian is distributed state wide, so he would most assuredly be exposed to it if not an active reader.

He seems to be putting some Southern Poverty Law Center stuff in there too, not just anti,

Baldr is actually in Eugene. I have the pleasure of living inbetween him and this douche in Portland.

If I were to guess, I'd say that the writers of the 2A decided we needed big scary mags and armor piercing rounds in case Army officers like himself decided to go the way of the Redcoats.

I guess he never received corrective action in the military for calling a magazine a clip. Like he was really in the Army. The Salvation Army maybe.

If he cannot be bothered to use the correct terminology to discuss the topic at hand, I cannot be bothered to read his inane drivel, especially when he sets himself up as a self-proclaimed "expert".

Yeah -- My neice met a new boyfriend who was a:
Marine Ranger
Skydiver
Mountain climber
Swims with sharks

Quite a guy!! He should hook up with this Army Officer/Gunsmith/ Sniper type. They must have a lot in common.

You'll note that all the card-carrying antis, be they, Helmke, Bloomberg, McCarthy, or Sugarmann, et al all use the term "Clips" when talking about magazines. Helmke has started saying Magazine, but only VERY recently. Somebody saying "clips", especially when advocating policy is showing they've been coached by Brady/Joyce.

Wouldn't surprise me if there was a paycheck in it for this asshole.

This stain on his momma's pretty pink panties was never in the Army. And I hate to disagree with Craig, above, but he couldn't qualify for the Salvation Army, either. I really agree with Weer'd Beard about the paycheck, though.

"...gunsmith, member of the NRA and a competitive marksman..."

Markie Marxist sez: "With that resume, he's going to the gulag for sure. Funny thing is, he wants to help us send him. Oh, well, whatever. Hope he enjoys his brief stay in that government death camp in Alaska. Lovely scenery there, I hear."

Were I in his area, I wouldn't take my guns to him for work. I wouldn't be able to trust him not to report me for some arcane infringement of the 2A.

CSGV just tweeted a link to that article, and they couldn't be prouder. I look at CSGV approval as a badge of shame.

I sincerely hope Portland has some gunsmiths that actually support the Second Amendment, because this joker doesn't deserve any gun owner's business.

Well, as a former Army SEAL, member of the NRA and the sergeant of the three-man Rapid Tactical Force at one of America's largest indoor retail shopping areas, I agree with my fellow patriot and firearms owner.

Extended capacity clips and armor-peircing rounds have no business being in the hands of the criminal scum I see in the food court every day. Why, just last week I wrote an email to the manager of the Cinnabon in my jurisdiction suggesting that he should replace the plexiglass in his display case with 1.25' bulletproof glass so he can be have some measure of cover from teflon-coated 5.7mm rounds the gangbangers here like to use.

Armor-piercing rounds are the reason why peace officers like myself have to wear 2-3 trauma plates on and off the job, and the sooner they're banned, the better off we'll all be.

Stay safe out there.

They should also ban U-hauls and fertilizer.

At first I thought that Gecko45 was extreme parody, at least on most places the writer puts the word sarcasm at the end, but when I clicked to see what was what with gecko45, I go straight to the Brady website. Maybe it still is parody but they don't get the joke.

Ah, Gecko45. The snark is thick with this one. Definitely a parody. Gecko45 used to troll the various gun forums posting about his mall ninja security job. A great touch with the website being the Brady Campaign!

Thank you, all, thank you. Yes, it was a parody of Gecko45. The trick to doing a good parody is to go right up to the line of believability, then go sailing across it. :)
