Rahm, as Chief of Staff of the Obama White House, has publicly stated that you should "Never want a serious crisis to go to waste" and has regularly endorsed ending due process.

Emanuel said he hasn't ruled out taking advantage of loopholes that might allow him flexibility on the city's handgun ban. Again, he wouldn't offer details, but said: "I'm not happy with the (U.S. Supreme) Court's decision, but I'm not going to sit on my hands either."
