Apparently Peter Jackson of "Lord of the Rings" movie fame has now gone beyond minor tweaks to rewriting.
I was thrilled to hear that filming for the long delayed "Hobbit" movie was going to finally start in Feb. '11. That was until I read that he's adding in characters from LOTR, not present in the original book, most likely to add some 'sexiness' content.

Yep, have to have that token female, doxy and foxy, or it wouldn't be worth dragging a female to... Hollywood really doesn't get it, or there are too many under-employed girl friends.
Might a Blaspheme a bit m'self and point out that The Hobbit was a GREAT children's story but not that impressive a story overall?
