Understatement....

In another hit piece on the NRA's Eddie Eagle program in VA, the 'Authorized Journalist' personally interviews good ol' Joshie Sugarmann of the VPC, introducing him w/ this line:
Another perspective comes from the Violence Policy Center, a nonprofit lobbying group in Washington that often advocates for gun control.
'Often'? Heh. How about 'exclusively'.

His only research into Eddie Eagle? Looking at the NRA's website.

And they wonder why their medium is dying.

Well, not quite "exclusively." There's also the time his Joyce Foundation paycheck went to paying him to complain about his neighbors.

"Eddie Eagle never says that guns kill. If you say that guns kill, then kids may not want guns later."

guns don't leap up and do things on their own.

a signature case of hoplophobia.

I'm going to contact my state Reps and recommend that North Dakota incorporate the Eddy Eagle program into our public school system. I've always thought that teaching young people about safe gun use was a fantastic idea for our publicly funded education system.
Guns save more people every year than they kill and it's high time our youth are taught the facts about it. The NRA is THE authority on firearms and thats why their program should taught in our schools. Children don't need to hear the ridiculous fear mongering of the liberals when it comes to our 2A rights.
