Illinois Residents, Call Your Governor.

HB 182, the bill decriminalizing having a firearm outside of your home, is on the Governor's desk. He now has 60 days to sign or veto it.

Ah--thank you. I've been looking all over for the deadline for him to take action on it, and couldn't find anything. So if he does nothing within 60 days, it becomes law automatically, correct? Also, the countdown started on June 26th, when it was sent to him, correct?
