The blade punctured Jose’s lung, and doctors say he lost a lot of blood but is expected to cover.

This happened to a guy who intervened when a bunch of thugs were harassing a mother and children.  They caught the POS thanks, remarkably/thankfully enough, to bystanders who took photos and actually talked to the police. 

The result? 

Those photos led police to 23-year old Gildalthi Rodriguez, who’s now been charged with misdemeanor battery.

Good thing he didn't do anything serious... like assault w/ a deadly weapon or attempted murder.
