Gun sale loopholes can often put weapons in felons' hands
So woman commits multiple crimes, gets caught, and goes to jail. How the f*ck is that a 'loophole'?
Oh right, it's a 'loophole' when anti-gun Chicago politicians are pushing to punish victims of crime w/ 'Lost & Stolen' laws w/ this logic:
Right. Make it more illegaler and they 'might' not break the law.The hope is that straw purchasers would be less likely to help out a friend if they know they have to report a gun missing.
It's also the week that the CCW bill is expected to be taken up again w/ the June 9th deadline fast approaching. How convenient. Expect to see another swath of poison pill amendments thrown into the mix.

Problem: when a crime gun is traced back to a straw purchaser they falsely claim, "it was stolen".
Anti's solution: require lost or stolen guns to be reported to the police within 48 hours.
New Problem: when a crime gun is traced back to a straw purchaser they falsely claim, "it was stolen yesterday".
