In Chicago.
He has a FOID and a license to carry as a security guard.
From part of his Bio:
As an advocate of gun control, in his first term as a State Representative, Donne E. Trotter ushered in Illinois’ first comprehensive law banning assault weapons.
His view on 'civilian' CCW:
"What you're doing here [is] just basically creating part-time police officers who have not gone through the extensive training, who have not had the psychological evaluations, who will be getting out there who feel now that they're--they are stronger, they are badder, they are tougher because they have this nine-shooter on their hip," Trotter said.So he is your typical anti-gun hypocrite. It's perfectly OK for him to carry and own a gun since he measures up to his own personal standards but all the rest of you inbred, knuckle-dragging rednecks are too stupid/ignorant to be trusted and might do something like try and carry one onto a plane.
oh wait.
Maybe he is the perfect replacement for JJJ.
UPDATE: Now since I put this up, I've been informed by several reliable sources that Sen. Trotter's views have 'moderated' some since his district now extends into Northern Redneckistan Territory.
We'll see what comes of it.

I feel like I'm being discriminated against because I'm not a privileged Chicago alderman.
25 ACP? Why doesn't he carry a man's gun?
.25 is for straight pimpin.

What do they mean by "ushered in Illinois' first comprehensive law banning assault weapons"? When has Illinois ever had a statewide AWB?
Since he's NOT actually a security guard, it's safe to say that his carry permit was obtained fraudulently.
Its pretty obvious about his voting on magazine capacity and awb's.
The Man think's a .25 is the ideal self defense weapon. What kind of security firearms training did this knucklehead get? The ACME institute of internet mall ninja nut-futtery?
Like the Brit collector wrote to Ian Fleming about .25s: "It's a lady's gun and not a very nice lady at that."
