OGRE: Nihon Empire Update #4

Alright people, there is firmer information coming out from OGRE Command.

First off:  Colors.

The Background of the Nihon units is going to be Maroon, similar to the shading of the box pictured on the KS campaign site to give it a Cherry Blossom look. 
The color of the units themselves is likely going to be, as expected, white w/ the Rising Sun standard.  

Counter Sheets:

Oh, you all are going to love this.  The standard sheets have been modified from 11x17 to a SPLIT-ABLE 11x18 which not only makes shipping so much easier (2 9x11's) but also has INCREASED the number of units from what was originally planned by nine (for Combine). Yes, anyone who's reserved it as an 11x17 will still get the full 11x18 size sheet so don't panic.

As I mentioned earlier, being Nihon, I'm leaning this towards GEV's and Marines but there is still a fantastic mix of units.  W/ a few modifications to the counters, I have had added a flat, single hex OGRE Mk V (Steel Samurai), a flat, single hex Mk III-B (Steel Oni), and some Mk I/II/III's on reversible counters giving the Nihon a little punch.  Not the perfect solution I know but it's what we could do. 

The requested counters should look like this:

I have also been informed that the custom sheet 'UnCommon OGRE's' WILL have a 3-D Nihon Mk III on it. To sign up for that mailing list is uncommonogres (AT) verizon.net 

The latest KS update is here stating that over 400 people haven't returned their swag surveys. If you don't want it, I'll certainly take it.  ;)

If any information changes, I will inform everyone ASAP.  Hopefully the next update will include some official artwork.
