Irony: They Still Don't Get It

Joan Peterson, Brady Campaign board member who believes firearm owners are unfit parents, calls us a bunch of meanies for not rolling over in her attempts to ban guns. She says:

..attacking those with whom you disagree with insults, derision and hateful language is immature and small to put it mildly.

The same individual who calls firearm advocates 'sleazy', 'sick' among some of her more immature wordings. Some of the comments she's approved through her moderation, IOW, comments personally approved by her:

The gun guys will do anything they can to handcuff investigators.

The gunloonz would rather see 1000 murders go unsolved than give up a trivial amount of privacy.

.. if you want to have a toy that sends a 150 gram cop killer bullet at 2800 miles per hour, it's just common sense that we need to register them.

The extremists are ugly in their comments, and go to great lengths to demonize anyone who disagrees with their views...Pitiful. Our attempts to bring peace to the community and reduce gun-related deaths brings out that gem of hatred and ugliness from them. Never mind that they oppose any and all regulation to reduce gun-related deaths and injuries, which makes them pro-criminal and only increases deaths.

And from Ladd Everitt, who has called firearm rights advocates everything from traitors, insurrectionists, etc. to stating we should be executed for treason:

So we see what kind of 'Honest Differences of Opinion' she supports. At least when it's coming from her side.

Ah Joan ---YES if it were my daughter the rapist should get nothing less than her well aimed bullets. But I guess you would just have women do what? sit back and enjoy it? he's not going to kill you, just take your dignity, peace of mind, your innocense.

You don't get to decide how we deal with OUR safety and You don't get to decide how our daughters get to fight back.

Well why did he have a CCW license? Because neither the school nor the drug abusing victim contacted the police after multiple threats by the psychotic and unstable professor until months later then refused to follow up w/ the police.

So if no-one's reported a crime, what evidence did the police have? Oh, right. None. But it's all the fault of him having a CCW. Right. Sure.

This isn't the first time they've deliberately misconstrued this story.

@CSGV Wants This Covered Up

Over 10000 guns allowed to go to the Mexican cartels w/ gov't approval. Yet the CSGV continues to act as apologists for this criminal action because they really hate the people that broke the story.

So in the mind of these 'gun violence prevention activists', it would be better for 'Fast & Furious' to never have been revealed than brought to light by someone they revile.

Not the First Time

Bitter on TBFKASIH has a post about Brady Campaign/Joyce Puppet Board Member Joan Peterson questioning whether firearm owners should be allowed to keep their children since we're obviously 'poor role models'.

This isn't the first time we've heard this before and it's a natural conclusion from their push to make firearm ownership a health issue. A former board member of Ceasefire PA once stated that teaching children how to use a firearm is a form of child abuse and that playing 'soldier' is a symptom of future sociopathy.

Like I said, it's a natural result from the 'firearm ownership=danger in the household' push by gun control advocates. If you can make that idea recognized by the establishment, it will be easier to restrict firearms 'for the children' since it will be assumed you're putting your kids at risk by even owning them. Unfortunately for them, that extremist view is becoming the purview of an ever shrinking fringe element who's foaming at the mouth dialogues are becoming less relevant as firearms are once again becoming more and more mainstream.

This isn't the first time we've heard this type of argument but unfortunately it won't be the last.

Well if you're a Democrat Central Committeeman and former State Senator William Marovitz, you'ld just pay it back w/ interest and then go on to MC an awards ceremony for the Joyce Foundation funded ICHV of which he's a board member of.

Ignorance is Strength

DC police raid a hemp store for evidence of illegal drug activity. Part of their warrant affidavit, however, was for the store selling a DVD called "10 Rules for Dealing with Police". The reason they found this evidence of criminal activity?

The typical citizen would not need to know detailed information as to US Supreme Court case law regarding search and seizure...

So the police of the nation's capitol believe it is evidence of criminal activity if 'typical citizens' care about their rights and how the nation operates. Of course this is the same organization of 'Only Ones' that supported keeping people defenseless for decades.

They Can't Win With Honesty...UPDATE

So they lie, cheat and steal.

One heavily restricted firearm shop is going to open in Oak Park, Il. Windy City Firearms. He can effectively only be used for transfers through internet and catalog sales.

So an anti-gun activist, who cowardly refuses to acknowledge himself even w/ a handle, has snatched up the domain name most similar to the gun shop's in order to pull business away from the legitimate FFL.

This is how they roll.

Reasoned Discourse: SOP Against Facts II

In another episode of 'Reasoned Discourse' from a Joyce Puppet, I bring you Bald Odinson of 'New Trajectory'. We've talked about this hypocrite before.

In the comments to his 'question', he says this:

So far I've gotten about 50 hits that I know of to this posting, but only two replies. So either you gun guys never sell to anyone you don't know, as GMC70 claims, or you are afraid to fess up. Which is it??

Well I called him on that, stating that that was a false dichotomy and a character attack. I also noted that in Illinois, even w/ the FOID card, anti-gun groups like the ones he's associated w/ continue to call for stricter laws.

That comment never was approved. Although he does mention the 'FOID' in his latest screed as 'acceptable' w/o mentioning the second part of my statement on it.

Over on Sebastian's site, Mike said:

FAIL. I would have replied on your blog, but you moderate your comments and don’t allow anonymous comments. Why is that so common with people who detest the 2nd Amendment?

To which Baldr faced liar responded:

@ Mike: I used to allow Anonymous comments, but they became too foul and threatening.

So by omission, he admits to censoring comments. So why should we trust him?

We can't. He's a hypocrite and liar. Just like the majority of his ilk.

This is the face of gun control advocacy. And it goes all the way up to the top.

Reasoned Discourse: SOP Against Facts

Bob S. over at 3BoxesofBS notes that the 'blog' 'A Law Abiding Citizen' has closed comments.

Why?

Well it turns out people had the audacity to point out that a large percentage of their examples were just the opposite of 'Law Abiding' and in fact were just the usual run of the mill criminal just continuing their daily activities.

But showing those facts hurt their cause so Reasoned Discourse again took hold.

The Ignorant and Obsessed

Sebastian TBFKASIH notes a Laddite who knows absolutely nothing about firearms except that she hates them. Weer'd, in comments, states she's not just the run of the mill PuSH'er but one of the anti-gun lobby's leaders.

Who is she, you ask?

Mary Kay Mace is from Illinois. Her daughter was murdered several years ago during the shootings at NIU. Since then she's been on a crusade to pass laws that would have done nothing to prevent her daughter's murder such as opposing Concealed Carry in Wisconsin along w/ Illinois and pushing for an expansion of the NICS database for those w/ mental health issues.

For the NIU shooter, Illinois does not allow concealed carry anywhere, current bills would have maintained schools as 'gun free zones'. The shooter also wouldn't have been effected by an expansion of NICS since he was never involuntarily committed or determined by a doctor/court to be a danger or unable to handle his own affairs.

So just like Joan Peterson, Colin Goddard and others, she's taken her grief and funneled it into a cult like fanaticism for gun control, no matter the facts or effectiveness of what she proposes.

It would be sad if she wasn't trying to keep me as defenseless as her daughter was.
