NRA Hate

I know people that have legitimate beefs against the NRA. Most of them can justify them w/ logical, reasoned arguments.

This is not one of them.

'Authorized Journalist' Clarence Worly has some interesting views. He allegedly spent 3 yrs unable to buy a firearm and thousands of dollars in legal fees due to a screw up on the Brady Background Check. He doesn't think federal laws have done any good.

But he thinks the NRA are extremists and Wayne Lapierre fans the fears of gun owners and arms criminals. He quotes the 'GunGuys' and Brady Campaign hit sites to prove his case. And all his firearm owning friends are reactionary lunatics. He also apparently hasn't reported the criminals he personally knows to the authorities.

Me thinks someone needs to change their meds. Just another 'I'm a gun owner but...' twit.

Ah--I've been waiting for Part II, ever since responding to Part I (among other things).

He's a stain on Idaho's honor.

Not only his meds, but his Depends, too. What a load of PSH!

I really hate the "I'm for the 2A, BUT..." types. Nothing but traitors to America.

He is not for the 2nd Amendment from what I can tell. He may be an anti who got a gun permit to pretend to be pro RKBA so he could try to put gun owners in a bad light and put gun control in a good one; that coming from a so called Gun Guy and therefore having more pull with those on the fence about guns.

His ordeal is less of a Brady/NICS problem, and more of an Identity Theft problem. He's only pi$$ed because it took a problem with the NICS to bring it to his attention.

Think about it: If a lowly blogger in Idaho who had never been in trouble with the law had a problem with NICS, then what kind of hell is everyone going to go through if they ever expand it to include non-criminal hits, such as the ubersecret No-Fly List from the TSA, or the HIPAA-violating release of mental health records to NICS.
