What makes it truly pathetic? (besides the spelling and PSH in the articles?)
Such a statistic seems irrelevant in Mr. Shahzad’s case, as he was on no such list in March.
So strip people of their rights w/o due process using an excuse that wouldn't have stopped the bomber from buying a gun anyway, just like the Ft. Hood shooting.
Typical PuSH'er logic. Never let a good crisis go to waste.

I find it interesting that so much focus was on the gun in that article. And yet zip was mentioned about just how easy it is to make bombs from materials available at Home Depot. Hell, they say you can make deadly chlorine gas with household cleaning supply's.
As Scrappleface noted, the guy worked with explosives, gasoline, and fertilizer; he washed up and sailed right though the airport security. So all the 'explosive detector' crap at airports is just for show.
