Wait for it.....

A convicted felon with a rap sheet a mile long is out on parole (of course)and on a 'Judicial Watch List'. He makes up a list of authority figures he wants to off, tries to get into a courthouse w/ a bunch of knives and is caught. Police search his home and find hundreds of knives, guns, and other paraphernalia including knives made of plastic.

The response by the police? Not "Why did our courts let him out?" but instead

make plastic knives illegal.

Yep, that would have stopped him.
