Invading your Privacy is a Public Service

That is the argument used by Dennis Henigan as he debated Caleb Giddings of GunNuts.net this morning on Fox.

So not only do the Brady's support the elimination of due process, they oppose privacy rights as well.

They should rename themselves the ACLU. The Anti-Civil Liberties Union.

Great Job Caleb.

Write into fox and askthem to get Henigan to back up the numbers he spouted about 500 criminal ccw owners in 2 Indiana counties. Or is it another climate gate?

And no one called him on it, asking if they got their permits or did the system work?

Criminal Backgrounds:

Didn't seem like Caleb got much time to speak. That said, I felt that the host did at least question the Brady spokesperson.

The criminal background is probably a crock of crap. I have a criminal background. When I was 20 years old I was dumpster diving. For those unfamiliar with the term, it refers to recycling someone elses trash. I bet you most of those so called criminal backgrounds were not prohibitive crimes. Besides, that's a red herring; his comments were a criticism of the background check system and NOT an argument for posting personal information.
