Unorganized Militia: Child Soldiers

Fourth Powers Alpha and Bravo have managed to survive six years w/o me strangling them. As a reward, they got their first Daisy rifles:

and lessons on safety (the four rules) and handling.

They did manage to hit the bucket a few times. Not bad for their first time.

Oh. And here's a Cicada.

Looks like your son can't decide whether or not to shoulder his rifle or spray fire it from the hip.

heh.

Somewhere, Sarah Brady is bawling her eyes out.

And that makes me happy.

Smiling here, great to see the training continues.

I think the armament is taller than your son or real close...but love the grins on their faces

family tradition here in NH..any member of the family manages to make it to the age of 13, they get an infantry-style rifle.

unfortunately my niece spotted one of those cavalry arms pink AR's.

SIGH.

oh well..I suppose it fits the bill..but I draw the line at the "hello kitty" model...

How does your son deal with the fact that his sister's weapon is more lethal than his??

I heard from the Brady Campaign that the lethality of a weapon is directly related to its....uh....."paint."
