Maybe the Blogosphere should be regulated..

For accuracy. Huffpo would then be bereft of the majority of its publishers including this nitwit. While whining about the Credit Card/Concealed Carry in Parks bill, he blathers:
At a time when gun violence kills more Americans than ever before,
Uh, no. Perhaps you might want to look at the FBI numbers from the late 80's and early 90's. You know, the heydey of gun control activism. It's about 2/3rds what it was then.

He also relates us with this magical tale:
No state is considering legislation to make it harder to buy a gun.
Really Scott? I can find about a dozen bills in Illinois alone that were introduced at the start of the legislative season. Never mind NY, CA, or the numerous other states high on the Brady list.

Really man. If you're going to open your pie hole, do some basic f*cking research before you spew your nonsense.

Wow, that douch-nozzle makes Helmke and Sugarmann sound reasonable.

Gotta run, there's a little old lady sniffing my roses so I think I'm gonna shoot her.

Wow--I thought this Daily Kos-hole was unhinged, but compared to the Huff 'n' Puffer you found, he's almost rational.

Doing research would either require him to stop lying, or start realizing he is lying. As it is now, he can plead ignorance (intentional though it may be).

Hey, Third--this time, I might have found a Daily Kos-Hole to rival your Huff 'n' Puffer for hysterical idiocy.

His/her/(its?) concern is that a bullet fired from a gun (not a tracer or incendiary round, mind you), might hit a rock, launch some sparks into dry tinder, and start a forest fire. Actually, that . . . remarkable scenario is treated as pretty much an inevitability.

Go read it--it's hilarious.

That seems to be the big defense against this bill "OMG FOREST FIRES!!" There have been a few allegedly started by shooters. I've seem more started by firefighters.

He he--I seem to have struck a nerve over at the Daily Kos:

.... that not everybody in the Democratic Party nor the liberal blogosphere is going to be co- opted by the NRA and the arms dealers running ammo and guns for profit to third world countries, don't you ? Just the greedy, immoral ones.

If it were legitimate it would have been done as stand alone legislation and not tacked onto a credit card bill.

This is just the usual crap, written in code, to appeal to the more violent fundamentalists and the neocon-evangelicals when it comes time for the Republican Party to go get cash from armament manufacturers and the Assault Rifles for Jesus Crowd, which are people who like to threaten other people with violence when they're not hitting one over the head with their own special deluded intrepretation of the Constitution proves we're a "Christian nation." This will make our National Parks extremely unsafe, will lead to increased wildlife poaching, and anyone supporting it is an idiot.

I'll see if I can bait him a little more with this. Does having so much fun with this sort of thing make me a bad person? Hell with it--I don't care if it does.

Thirdpower, 45superman: I recently read something about people wanting to ban muzzleloading hunting due to the fear of forest fires!
