You repeatedly bring up the state of NJ with respect to a semi-auto model 'Marlin 60' (& I'm assuming it's many, many variant) ~ which is considered even by some gunowners as not the most practical assault rifle for hunting (eg., it's "overkill").
Yes. The venerable .22 cal "Assault Gun". "Overkill" for hunting.
Behold the inner workings of the ignorant.

Wow. Today must be the National Be an Ignorant Idiot Day.
If hoplophobes really do view a .22 caliber as "overkill", then they really do intend on banning all firearms... at least their motives are becoming more clear.
Well even if they want to ban guns firing the .22 long rifle cartridge, I'm sure they'll let us keep our guns chambered for .22 short.
That should be plenty of fire power for anybody. Unless ya actually wanted to go hunting or use it for self-defense.
TP, how about I mail you a brick. A nice, red one.
That way, you can argue with it online and get a better response than Kelli~ and at least, at some point, a brick can be useful.
Kelli~? Not so much.
Wow. Kelli is still around. I used to think she was the most obtuse anti-gun commenter ever until I stumbled upon Don Viti of Delaware Liberal infamy.
Is it possible Kelli was thinking of an M60 .30-caliber machine gun? I vote yes.
Besides, you forget that the Marlin 60 is a machine gun, too . . . in Washington, D.C.
In fact, it was my Machine Gun of the Day not too long ago:

(Mine has a red-dot sight so my son can shoot well with his vision problems . . . and mine is a Woolworths' Commemorative Model . . . assault weapon? I guess so.)
