Law Abiding Gun Owner

Homeowner wounds would-be burglar

Fulton County police said they will consult with the district attorneys office before deciding on whether to charge a homeowner who shot and wounded a teenager charged with breaking into his townhouse Saturday evening.

The Brady Campaign not only thinks that this homeowner should have relied on the authorities who weren't there but should also have to go through the trauma of being held and charged to prove he didn't commit a crime defending his home.

That is their definition of "reasonable, common-sense" legislation.
