Blagojevich to cut education funds

Watch. That's what will happen in order to "use the cuts to pressure the House to send him two ideas that would spare more than $1 billion in the proposed cuts,..."

As he spends hundreds of thousands of taxpayers dollars flying back and forth from Chicago to Springfield and keeps the legislators working overtime with per diem.

From "Clout Street":

Lawmakers passed a budget in late May estimated to be as much as $2 billion short and headed home for summer. On Tuesday, Blagojevich said he'd have to cut $110 million from schools, $260 million from social services and $600 million in health care for the poor.
