ILLINOIS: EMAIL YOUR STATE REPRESENTATIVE
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, HELP US SAVE LIVES
Dear Illinois Brady Campaign Member,
As witnessed by the rash of recent tragic shootings in our state, dangerous people have far too easy access to dangerous weapons. This year in Illinois, we have the opportunity to pass strong gun laws that will ban military-style assault weapons (HB 4357), high capacity ammunition magazines (SB 1007) and require a background check on the sale of every handgun (HB 758). Please help us pass this life-saving legislative package.
EMAIL YOUR STATE REPRESENTATIVE TODAY!
Tell him/her: "Vote YES on HB 4357, SB 1007, and HB 758"
Last year, the Illinois State Senate passed a life-saving bill, SB 1007, to ban deadly ammunition magazines that hold more than 10 bullets. If it passes the State House we will be one step closer to enacting it into law. Both HB 4357, a bill to ban dangerous military-style assault weapons, and HB 758, a bill to require a background check on every handgun purchaser, will soon be voted on in the State House.

Got an idea for ya third...
I think you should consider getting out the ol' checkbook and making a donation, just not one of money.
For thousands of years, people used to barter goods/services to buy their wares. Why not write a check and make it out for say, three chickens or one sheep.
If you insist on using numbers, try putting a negative sign(-) in front of them and see what happens.
I'ld have to use a defunct account. God knows how many "donations" I'ld end up making if they got a current one.
