Gun show in Tuscola, IL went pretty well. Steadily full pretty much all day Saturday w/ moments of busy periods Sunday. W/ church and NASCAR, that was unsurprising. Sales were steady but people were tighter w/ their money than they have been over the last few months. Less guns and more accessories, especially ammo, were the movers.
The big fun occurred Sunday about noon when a news crew from WCIA channel 3 showed up. Now instead of going to the door and talking to the organizers, they just barged in, walked past security (w/o paying) and started setting up. It took the threat of police for trespassing to get them to leave. When asked why they weren't allowed to film, they were told flat out that it was due to privacy issues and the reality that most media stories are anti-gun. They replied "But we're the media, We're objective". The eruption of laughter at that statement didn't make them smile however.

What, you mean they weren't afraid of the violent gun people shooting at them for walking in uninvited? It's like they know they are full of crap.

I don't think that word means what you think it means LOL
The sad part is they probably believe they are.
