The Bills Are Piling Up II

And they're just as stupid as the previous ones I mentioned.

Cook County Board President Prickwinkle wants to punish people who are victims of crime w/ a $1000 fine
The ordinance will require individuals who lose, destroy, transfer or have their firearm stolen in the County, to report it to the Sheriff’s Office within 48 hours.  Individuals who fail to comply will be subject to a $1,000 fine for the first violation. Owners will be required to report the make, model and serial number of the firearm, along with the date and location of purchase.
And if you don't have all that?  Screw you Prickwinkle.

And Munoz joins his buddy by introducing a ban on most firearms in the IL senate.

These are the politicians that literally run out the back door when 7,000 people come marching to the capitol wearing gold shirts.

I assume there will be an exception for those of us who turned our firearms at city "buyback" events. I was promised that there were to be no questions asked.

The best part of this is that if a person has sold the firearm illegally, which is what this law is nominally designed to prevent, it is a violation of the fifth amendment, and cannot be applied.

Remember, taking our guns is just the prelude to a whole lot of worse stuff that they want to do to us. They just have to get our guns first, and then they can proceed with the rest of their agenda. That's why we have to hold the line here.
