KOMRAD!!!!

For the glory of the Soviet Motherland!

Workers of the world UNITE!!!

For the joke, see here.

This is my first Mosin.  A 91/30 1942 Izhevsk PU style sniper w/ matching serial #'s.  Waiting on a case of ammo since I wasn't going to pay the gouge pricing available at the show.

Thinking of Charles Bronson telling james Coburn the only Russian phrase he knows in the Great Escape.

Yavas yublu.... What's that mean coburn asks? Bronson shrugs and says its "I love you" ...........

No, the only Russian you TRULY need to know is "Yob tvoyu mat." I dated a Russian studies major for several years, so what I say must be true. *nods sagely*

As the creator of the comic, first off:

- NERD
- This photo kicked my ass.
- I am seriously jealous of your acquisition. I have both a Tula and Izhevsk, both regular 91/30 rifles, not with the sniper bolt or scope. That looks like a badass rifle.
- Get used to cleaning your new piece with boiling water.

WELKOM TO PROLETARIAT, KOMRAD

1 part ammonia to about 5 parts water. Or use Ballistol mixed with water; cleans the corrosive priming residue out very well, then normal cleaning.

Windex w/ Ammonia is what I've always used for my corrosive 8mm.

Yes, I am a nerd.
