ICHV in Champaign

The Joyce Foundation funded 'Illinois Council against Handgun Ownership has decided to enter enemy territory, in other words, the home territory of the Champaign County Rifle Assoc./GunsSaveLives.

From GSL:
The freedom-eschewing folks at The Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence have invited *us* to their first meeting in Central Illinois, along with everyone else.
It’s set for Sunday, November 18th from 2-4pm at the Champaign, IL Public Library.
Nicole Anderson-Cobb is their new 'outreach coordinator'. Let's make sure that when they 'reach out' their hand gets 'bit'* by the numbers of firearm owners who won't put up w. them trying to restrict us.

This is a premier opportunity to expose the anti-rights cadre's mis-characterization of pro-rights individuals/groups. Be sweet as possible, beware of verbal 'gotcha' traps, and 'kill them with kindness'.

All of the above and we should outnumber them at least 100 to 1 in terms of numbers.

Also recommend IGOLD prefereces i.e. please no cammo and reasonable clothes. I will even wear {horrors} a suit witha choke rope :-(

The League of women voters sponsored the ICPHV a few years ago in Wheaton Il.. This was before the SCOTUS McDonald decision. Be prepared to hear a bunch of b/s loaded statistics. I recall the meeting room's seating capacity was around 250 of which 240 were foid card holders. Of course the news media forgot to mention that fact.
The The Isra demanded equal time and a meeting was held a few weeks later at Wheaton's city hall. Good luck and show up in strength.
