Chicago Police Security

One would think that in a building storing well over a $100K of city property, they would install some sort of alarm or security system or even have a guard, especially if it was vital to the operation of the Chicago Police Dept.

But that would make sense.

Instead, they didn't and now have no idea who broke in and released dozens of CPD horses, injuring two of them.  This being the second possible attack on stables in the last week.

I'm sure the administration puts as much thought into protecting the public.

What motive would anyone have to release or injure police horses?
