Then the scope would adjust vertically any farther so I had to physically readjust the mounting, mechanically zero the scope Vert. and start over again.
FINALLY got it into the center of the target and then switched to the zeroing target and was able to get it to about 1 MOA regularly.
Then I took my frustrations out on some innocent hedge apples.
I'm no super sniper shooter but this was ridiculous.
I do believe it's time to invest in a laser zeroing system.

The laser will at least get you onto paper most of the time. It can also help to start at 25 yards the same way the army does when teaching the art of zeroing.
I did start at 25 yrs. That's the sad thing.
Not sure if you've seen them but the ebil gun lobby makes a laser sight which is inside the dummy cartridge of your choice.
You chamber the dummy round and the laser shoots straight out the barrel.
