Deadliest Warrior: Season II
I admit it, I'm addicted to the show. Watching the special presentation that was on before the Season II premier, I noticed something about the Dragunov that the Spetznaz operative was using. It had a box magazine instead of curved. That means it was most likely a Chinese NDM-86 modified to 7.62 NATO instead of the traditional 7.62 x 54R.

Oohh, Decisions decisions. I like both rounds and that rifle design is a weakness of mine.
Guess I have to wait until someone drops one on a battlefield somewhere though. Bammy's agenda is making Big gun purchases for me Very few and far between right now. At least I have the cheapy Dragunov in 54R
I've got an NDM 86 in .308 and a Izmash Tiger in x54r.
Both are damn fine examples of weaponry, and both will put rounds under a nickel at 100 yds with factory 4x PSO scopes.
I am so glad I'm not the only person that enjoys this trainwreck of a TV show. It's so absurdly bad, but I love that it is the ultimate evolution of the classic argument of "who would win in a fight".
