You know what the funniest part is, to my way of thinking? Obama has to know that he's not going to win over gun rights advocates, so there's not really a lot (or any, as far as I can tell) of upside for him to do things like this.
Clearly, though, he's so unconcerned about there being any significant downside to pissing off the Brady Bunch, that he does it anyway, despite not having much of anything to gain from it.
