Chicago twice as dangerous as Iraq.

The "Gun Free" city has had more murders by firearms than troops have been killed in a combat zone.

Yet murders in the rest of the state where firearms are more common are 1/6th the rate of the city.

Telling.

Murders in Chicago over the summer are double the number of U.S. combat deaths in Iraq over the same period.

Or about equal to the U.S. combat deaths in Iraq AND Afghanistan over the same period.

Out of curiousosity, what is the land area difference between the city of Chicago and Iraq? (Much less both Iraq and Afghanistan combined…) While we’re at it, what is the total population of both Nations and active war zones as compared with Chicago?

I’m too lazy this evening to look it up myself. But I would imagine the differences to be ‘kinda noticeable.’
