Unlicensed Dealers at Gun Shows

I support them.

Today I was able to purchase, w/o background check or waiting period, unserialized Assault Chili in large capacity containers. Within the next 24 hours, entire rooms will be cleared of life as I spray-fire from the bowel.

This is my manifesto. Be afraid America.

Last Sunday at a gun show I found a H&R Sportsman 22lr top break revolver. It has a D prefix in the serial number indicating manufacture in 1943.
I have been looking for one of these for over 2 years.
The seller was a private citizen like myself. After we (both of us) filled out the required government paperwork and passed background checks (FOID). I got the privilege of waiting three days to pick up my new gun. Paul calls this a loophole? P.S. to Kelli~ (Im suspect she reads your blog) My over 50 year old gun still works!

Hey, were you at the Bloomington show? I was one of the fools in the yellow IGOLD shirts...would love to have met you.

Kee-rist! Don't you know some of that stuff can kill not just those in the room with you but you too? From the inside? Hope you at least have some cervesa to wash to down with--no, make that dampen the flames.

However, I too confess to purchasing from unlicensed dealers at a gun show not to long ago.

Bought some fine canvas tote bags in Mossy Oak and two army surplus duffles. Just enough to pack all by hunting clothes away for the trip to camp.

Yep. I managed to get there on Sunday. I was sorely tempted to walk out w/ one of the $98 matched # M44's. Not going to be able to make IGOLD this year. I'll explain why tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to make the Sullivan show.
