How many the Rats? How many the Refugees?
WaronGuns has a nice graphic on the most repressive states (in multiple forms) losing populace. It correlates closely to firearm laws. While the article he links to shows that some of them are rats trying to foul their new nests as badly as the ones they abandoned, I wonder how many of them are in fact refugees trying to escape SuperNanny.

The only problem is the sheer number of them who wish to escape the repressive atmospheres of their home states, while never acknowledging the source of that repression. Those escapees in denial happily work to institute the very same policies that made them flee their old home in their new ones.
This is whence comes the Northern Virginia "occupied territories" that extend from DC south, almost to Fredericksburg.
We are not the lone ranger and other states have faced this threat as well. The challenge is to encourage the newcomers to assimilate successfully into their adopted cultures rather than allow them to adapt that culture to their exported mores. An endless and timeless struggle I fear.
No argument, hence the "rats" statement. I would just like to know how many of them are pro-gun refugees fleeing being outnumbered by the rats that followed. Are the rats a vocal minority? About equal or a majority?
