A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Lies

Start w/ this description:

According to the Sheriff's Office, a search warrant served on Knapp's Mercedes and storage unit turned up a pound of meth, half a pound of heroin, 15 firearms and approximately $40,000 in cash.

Alright.  Police get a goblin off the street. Good job, right?  Now let's look at what the sheriff's office found.

Of those firearms, 12 were military assault rifles (five of which were confirmed stolen), two were stolen handguns and one was a fully functional 20 mm anti-tank/sniper rifle, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Um, 12 military assault rifles?  Really?  Where.  I see maybe 2 MSR's, a few tricked out shotguns and a bunch of Mosin's along w/ other bolt action rifles.  That anti-tank rifle is a WWII relic if my knowledge is correct.  Can you even get ammo for it? 

So the PSH completely ruins the points for the actual police work they did especially since some MDA puppet goes on a nonsense rant about carrying an anti-tank gun in Target.

Anti-gunners trot out the '74 school shootings' lie to try and ban gun shops in Niles, IL.

Because we all know that shooters regularly wait the 24/72 hr waiting periods then hike immediately over to a school.  This is nothing but fear mongering and the desire to ban guns anyway they can. I've said for years that they will try to eliminate gun shops through litigation and legislation and been called 'paranoid' and a 'conspiracy theorist' by the likes of Ladd Everitt.

This, and the continued actions by Chicago, just prove my point.

As for the meeting itself, according to one poster on ISRA FB page, it was another typical rigged panel, telling the pro-gun people the decision would be shifted to July 7th meeting then allowing testimony by anti's after most pro-rights had left.

These people have no concept of reality.  They will crap their pants over ANY improvement or modification of a firearm and claim that it's designed for 'criminals'.  This is a rifle designed for rich folks w/ extra cash and no desire to go the traditional route for accuracy. Joe Gangbanger isn't going to be anywhere near one of these. But that won't stop the anti's from having to change their shorts.

The Woolrich Hate-Fest Begins

Not surprisingly, since the article came out about clothing manufacturer Woolrich cashing in on the millions of CCW holders (and rising) nationwide, the hate-fest by the PuSHer's has begun.

And if you think Mr. Smith is your average citizen outraged by the decision by a business to make some money, think again.  He's a long term anti-gun advocate who has been involved in (failed) lawsuits opposing self-defense:

“A loaded concealed weapon in a bar is a recognized hazard,” said David Randolph Smith, a lawyer who represents the waiter and is preparing to appeal the decision. “I have a right to go into a restaurant or bar and not have people armed. And of course, the waiter has a right to a safe workplace.”

I wonder how he thinks he has that 'right'? Even though crime has been dropping regularly and there hasn't been 'wild west shootouts' and 'blood in the streets', he continues w/ his case of clinical denial:

These gun laws + the absurd no retreat stand your ground law are a recipe for vigilantism & guerrilla warfare.

 This is in response to a case where a man walking his dogs was threatened and attacked by violent gang members. We see where his sympathies lie. 

So the Woolrich 'boycott' is, like the Starbucks boycott, only going to be endorsed by a fanatical fringe element of society while the company rakes in the money.

Obviously this is because they want to cash in on a 'dying industry'.

PSH being defined as going into such absolute conniptions over anything firearms that you are likely to mess yourself, this is a textbook example from the 'Protest Easy Guns' FB page

This individual is from Arizona. Think about just how stupid that fact makes this comment. Arizona has been a 'Shall Issue' state since 1994, that's 18 years. It's been 'Constitutional Carry' for over a year and a half and this individual JUST NOW decided to stain her shorts over carrying firearms since there's been such a run on shootings in AZ Starbucks up till now.

And the 'Like'? Why the PEG-heads of course.

This isn't caring about reducing violence or crime, this is pure fear. Fear to the point that it is diminishing their capacity to function in society, iow these people are suffering from a mental illness and should begin to seek counseling.

Waiting For the Non-Event in Wisconsin

So today's the first day of legal CCW in Wisconsin. As usual, it has been proceeded by much wailing and gnashing of teeth over 'blood in the streets' and 'Wild West Shootouts' even though it hasn't happened ANYWHERE else. One MIAG mayor even proclaimed that it would increase smuggling.

Maybe in a few years Josh Sugarmann might find an incident or two to add to his list.
