It Gets Even Worse

I did it.  I know I shouldn't have but I did.  It was sitting there.... staring at me.  I knew it was going to be bad but that niggling part of the back of my mind just had to find out 'how' bad. Kind of like when someone tells you something smells bad you just have to take a whiff.

What did I do?

I clicked on a Salon article.  Not just any article but one w/ this headline:

A gun lover sees the evils of gun culture: White supremacists, Obama haters, and me 

Just to give you that same whiff I got:

 But before I let go of my gun forever, I wanted to hold it again and fire it. I wanted to experience the repugnance that a device created solely for the purpose of killing human beings should evoke.  Worse, what if I wasn’t repulsed? I needed to know.

The rest is a continuation of self-reinforcing tripe, stereotypes, and loathing that has become typical of anti-gun 'literature'.  Just enough researched details to make it plausible but there were still things that made me wonder (like calling a gun a 'piece' as "the noun preferred by the cognoscenti" , then I read the author's mini-bio:

Matt Lallo lives in Baltimore, MD, and has written restaurant reviews for the Baltimore Sun and Baltimore Magazine. He continues to write topical articles and short stories.

Yeah, that explained the smell.

More of Ladd Everitt's .@CSGV Double Standards

Somebody made an 'app' that allegedly is being used to post names and addresses of 'gun control activists' according to the Soros funded "ThinkProgress"*. Ladd responds:

“Harassment is par for the course,” said Everitt, who is the communications director for the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence in Washington, D.C.

He would know as he personally posted the real life names, states, and at least one alleged workplace of pro-rights advocates on Twitter and other Social Media in order to intimidate/harass us.

Remember that Ladd?  Openly supported by numerous of your cohorts.

Or the time you supported the filing of child endangerment reports against another firearm owner after libeling him?

He probably does but since all of those at the CSGV (and most anti-gun fanatics) have proven to be pathalogical liars, they'll never admit it.

*Then there's all the 'It's the NRA's fault" and "If they come to my door I will shoot them" posts. Ironic, eh?

Double Standards

So an ant-gun organization exclusively funded by a guy who has 24hr armed security doesn't think that 24 hr. security helps.

Unsurprisingly, their own misfits crawl out from under their bridges to continue the verbal diarrhea.



Not to far away from openly calling for firearm owners to wear some sort of symbol on their clothing so everyone can recognize a sub-human.

More Bloomberg Astroturf

Seems an employee for 'Everytown' is going around posting, pretending they have actual grassroots. 

Anyway, I did an IP trace and found that the address was owned by Bloomberg.  It makes sense, since I also found out that she works for Bloomberg via Everytown For Gun Safety.  Her Disqus account is active, and features snark, misdirects, sarcasm, insults, and most of all, prose designed to demoralize and demonstrate the complete impotence of whatever group she is berating at the moment.  The prose is designed to cause depression and dejection.
Here is the lesson.  Bloomberg is paying her to visit web sites – particularly gun rights web sites – and spread discontent and dejection.

Like when Ladd Everitt of the CSGV was posting under his pseudonym and supporting his own articles.  Not that this comes as any real surprise but now one wonders how many different accounts they're posting under.

So that CA resident who is obsessed w/ other people's genitalia and sexual performance is allegedly himself a firearm owner.  It's been a fairly typical conversation w/ an ignorant who suffers from NRA-Hate nor cares about any other firearms but his (alleged) own, adhoms, insults, no actual argument/evidence, red herrings, the usual:

They've completely ignored the dozens of reports that CCW has been a non-event crime-wise in Illinois and instead rely on nonsense VPC google searches.  And of course no comments on the article allowed and it's not up on their FB page.  Cowards.

@MMFlint Is A Bigot & Hypocrite

He just keeps digging himself deeper, showing not only his hypocrisy but some blatant stereotyping bigotry w/ something very close to a 'Bitter/Clinger" Comment. 

Moore said he thinks the movie’s appeal skews toward an audience that doesn’t usually see movies.
“It just felt like a real ‘Passion of the Christ’ crowd. People who would normally wait for it to go on video or see it on TV but wanted that collective feeling of sitting there with others,” he said.

There's some real stretching there.  Maybe, just maybe 'those people' are tired of wasting tons of cash on crap movies that Hollywood is churning out weekly.Of course he didn't actually say 'Bitter/Clinger' so....

“I purposely didn't say anything about ‘American Sniper’ in my original tweets.

Because he's a coward and wanted to play word games when he knew there would be a backlash for his inflammatory and ignorant comments.  Like this one:

I just found it uncomfortable that something called 'American Sniper,' a film about a sniper, would be released on the weekend where we're honoring a great American who was killed by a sniper,” he said.

So again, US Military snipers, like Chris Kyle, are equivalent to the man who murdered MLK in Moore's diseased mind.

Moore also placed some of the blame for the backlash on the constraints of Twitter.

Or maybe, just maybe it's the fault of the constraints on his thinking.  Stop blaming others, coward.

Moore, who owns three movie theaters, says he is showing “American Sniper” in one of them because "it's part of the American discussion and people should see it."

Or maybe, just maybe, American Sniper is raking in tons of cash and he wants to take advantage of that American Capitalism he hates so much.
