Not So Bare Bones Ruger 10/22

The parts I ordered to flesh out my new 10/22 arrived today. From Ruger, I got a weaver style scope mount and sling swivels. From SG, I got a Butler Creek 1" 1907 style leather sling which I'm very comfortable w.


The original screws were in there so tight I used a drill to loosen them up for removal. The scope mounting screws are hand-tightened only at this point. The mounting blocks the iron sights.

The swivels are decent and seem sturdy so I hope they'll stand up to some abuse. The sling I'll be oiling up later tonight if time permits. I popped some grommets on the other 1907 style I have during Appleseed so I'll be looking out for that. The repair job w/ sinew has held since then.

A website named 'Democracy in Action' (run by the Joyce Foundation puppet SUPGV) endorses elimination of Due Process (and lying in the process)


So they lie to the public and their supporters. It's all they have.

Debt Talks; What the Real Results Will Be.

W/ all the posturing and posing by the politicians, we all know what's going to happen. The 'debt limit' is going to be increased. Taxes are going to go up. And the Gov't will piss it all away just like they always have until the next batch of politicians get in there after promising to 'fix things' and the cycle starts all over again.

Joyce Foundation Puppets, Media Matters, Lie About Guns

So the puppet 'News' source, Media matters, bought and paid for by the Anti-gun Joyce Foundation, makes up facts and terminology to try and push for more restrictions in the US.

Uh, no. Standard ploy from the VPC to deliberately confuse the public. iow, lying.

Under Federal Assault Weapons Ban in place in the United States between 1994 and 2004, magazines of greater than ten rounds were banned

Uh, no. They weren't. To say so is either ignorance or lying. We've seen the precedent.

So even w/ a tragedy like this, they can't find any other way other than to lie and deliberately mislead the public to push their anti-gun agenda.

So Let Me Get This Straight....

We need to allow the BATFE/DOJ/FBI to mandate reporting of purchases of 2 or more guns at one time because the BATFE/DOJ/FBI knowingly allowed thousands of firearms to be purchased (including hundreds by convicted felons) and smuggled to Mexico?

And there are actually people who agree w/ this.
