"Authorities recovered a terrifying arsenal that could have been used in a shocking attack: a Remington 270 sniper rife, a Ruger 22-250 sniper rifle, boxes of Remington and Winchester ammo, two-way radios, bulletproof vests, camouflage and wigs."
Yep. Those VPC "Intermediate Sniper Rifles" again.

Got an email from my shooting instructor regarding this very issue.
ReplyDeleteWe need to school the media, or at least school the uninformed public ourselves.
The anti-gun media doesn't WANT to be schooled. They can't use leading headlines and screaming type if the are.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya, but think we can use the *Fairness Doctrine* against them?
ReplyDeleteWhenever it gets approved?
No. That will only apply to "conservative" media not publishing "liberal" viewpoints. What's commonly (and inaccurately) known as "progressive".
ReplyDeleteOoh--"Remington and Winchester ammo"--that is terrifying.
ReplyDeleteAw, snap! 22-250? Is it possible that they knew about the 352nd Groundhog Battalion?
ReplyDeleteOuch!
ReplyDeleteBeer through the nose--thanks a million, Don.
If 2 rifles and some ammo constitute a "terrifying arsenal" and "cache" of weapons, I sure as hell wonder what words they would use to describe it if they searched my house.
ReplyDeleteWhat a joke.
But we knew it was coming. Anything with a scope is now a sniper rifle and anything without a scope is designed to be spray-fired from the hip.
How long will it be before we see a big game handgun hunter in the news with the head line about the confiscation of a sniper pistol.
