At Least They're Honest About It
The CSGV says: Facts don't matter, we hate guns.
Another story where they've declared the shooter guilty before all the facts are present because he used a firearm. As they've stated as their official position "'Using armed violence in any context is flat out wrong...". Rape, Spousal abuse, attempted murder... It doesn't matter. They're view is that you are in the wrong if you use a gun to defend yourself.
All right, if guns are pure evil, then I'm just going to have to go get a katana and start beheading criminals who attack me.

So by that line of reasoning (okay, but let's call it that for the sake of discussion, okay?) we should take the weapons away from law enforcement, corrections, border patrol and the military, too, right? I mean, if you truly believe that you shouldn't use a weapon to defend yourself, it follows that you shouldn't permit another to use a weapon on your behalf.
