Bet He Wishes He Had An Individual Right To a Gun Now

Justice Breyer, one of the Anti-Gun Four who ruled against the individual right to keep and bear arms in both Heller and McDonald was robbed in his vacation home in the West Indies:
WASHINGTON – Justice Stephen Breyer was robbed last week by a machete-wielding intruder at his vacation home in the West Indies, a Supreme Court spokeswoman said Monday.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

  5. The crime occurred in Nevis, not the US. Even if Breyer had voted with the majority in Heller or McDonald it would be irrelevent to a crime committed in a foreign country.

  6. What Bob said - the West Indies aren't US territory.

    Breyer could have been a rabid pro-2A bulldog his entire career and it wouldn't have changed a thing.

    (I have no idea what St. Kitts And Nevis law is about foreign nationals being armed, but I doubt it's sympathetic, as they're a Commonwealth nation.)

    I'm sure he went to there because of their "common sense" gun laws. Hmm...maybe he will become conservative by the old definition. A conservative is a liberal who has been mugged.
