Unpossible in NJ..

NJ has 'reasonable, commonsense' gun control. This is obviously a fabrication.

JERSEY CITY, N.J. - Five police officers and two suspects were hit in a wild shootout in the area of Bergen Avenue and Reed Street on Thursday morning. A total of eight officers were injured.

Obviously the 'one-gun a month' law would have stopped these individuals in their tracks.

Update: The story's changed from 'automatic' shotgun to 'illegal pump' shotgun.

Hmmm, your linked story says it was an illegal pump shotgun.

Now this coming out...

"The primary suspect was carrying an automatic weapon, said Jersey City Mayor Jerramiah Healy."

I wish the MSM could educate themselves enough to learn the difference.

Nice to know that my Chief of Police thinks pump shotguns (like my Winchester 1897) are weapons of war.

Laying the foundation for future gun bans in NJ.

umm isn't the 1897 a military issue shotgun?

of course it doesn't make a fucking difference to either side. One side admits that ALL guns are dangerous in the wrong hands, and this danger can be mitigated by a few simple laws as well as increased enforcement of them.

The other side wants to ban all guns, even if it kills innocent people in its wake.
