Then Police management looks good, the politicians look good, and a lot of people get bonuses and/or get re-elected. <br /><br />And crimes go unpunished, or pled down to nothing. But the politicians look good, and that is all that really matters. Washing...I hear you on the faked crime statistics. Washington DC changed the rules, so a stabbing or shooting (or any other violent crime) isn't classified as a violent crime unless someone is arrested. Their justification was essentially that they don't really know what happened until they hear both sides.<br /><br />My home state revises their statistics based on the plea deal (so robbing five 7-11s with a pistol becomes illegal possession of a gun by a felon), upping gun-crime statistics while lowering overall violent crime numbers.dustydognoreply@blogger.com
