'Disarm to Protect People"

Guntersville, AL wants to allow police to disarm citizens in case of an 'emergency'. Their excuse? If people become 'unruly' they want to protect 'public workers'.

Yeah. Bullcrap.  If someone's threatening responders, there's already enough laws on the book to detain/arrest them, they don't need the 'authority' to disarm people.

This is a bad idea, nothing else but.
