What she really said:
"When he got carried away from handguns to big guns, I said, 'I'm done.'"Well that certainly changes the meaning of the sentence, doesn't it?
Not that we really expect anything in the way of honesty from them.
Update: Retaining their issues w/ the truth, the VPC is accusing me of 'misquoting' them.

An Associated Press reporter on NPR called the AR-15 rifle "heavy artillery" when discussing this story.

ReplyDeleteI wrote NPR and asked why the host didn't challenge the AP reporters' statement about AR-15's being "heavy artillery.
I just got an email from NPR that they announced a correction yesterday to listeners that AR-15's are not heavy artillery.
Baby steps.
